Catherine’s background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree (writing major); 10 years of one-on-one tutoring using a strengths-based approach; book editor; published author/journalist; certified Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages instructor; and English language mentoring program coordinator of twelve years.

Catherine is a native English speaker who believes that humour is vital to learning, and that teaching with empathy is an effective path to success. In-person and online tutoring available where applicable.
