Catherine J. Johnson

Catherine J. Johnson freelances as a writer, editor and writing tutor, and is a naturalist and co-author of Welcoming Wildlife to the Garden (Hartley & Marks Publishers, 2004).

Fueled by a diverse background, Catherine’s articles have appeared in publications such as Pacific Yachting; Harrowsmith; BC Nature; Cottage; Western Mariner; BC Woman; and Alive. She holds a BA in creative writing (non-fiction) and a certificate from the Writer’s Studio at SFU.

Catherine is also a certified TESOL instructor and lives on Vancouver Island, BC where she tutors English to speakers of other languages – it’s all about the words.
